Location: Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh
Designing: Anglican
Dedicated to: St. Barnabas & St. Francis
Built in: 1844

Still unspoiled and very much as the British left it fifty years ago, Kasauli has a fine old church. The Christ Church, is a typically Anglican structure of the period and its foundation stone laid in 1844. Well proportioned, its spires, buttresses and gothic arches are framed against the stately deodars.

Dedicated to St. Barnabas and St. Francis, the church has some fine stained glass windows with delicately carved borders, a sundial and lovely brass memorials. The grey stone church set amongst verdant green makes a very pretty picture.
